Liz + Jake's classic San Francisco wedding was so beautiful... Despite the rain we had so much fun shooting portraits at the Palace of Fine Arts before the ceremony. I adored Liz's classic Hollywood look - so glamorous! Kathleen Deery created the beautiful florals and Alyssa of AE Planning + Design made all the moving parts of the day come together smoothly.

I've been shooting a lot of maternity portraits recently and so enjoying them. I love capturing the wonder of this time... It certainly was full of that for me, and I see it in the women I photograph. Especially in Viviane - what a gorgeous mama she is, bursting with life.

My sweet clients Melissa + Jay trekked into the wilds of Golden Gate Park with me one evening to take these images... I love going off the beaten path with my couples... For me, it's all about that perfect soft light... I always prefer to choose a spot with amazing light over the backdrop. All I need is some fantastic light and a couple in love - the rest is magic. I can't wait for Melissa + Jay's Bear Flag Farm wedding later this summer!
